大拇指知识人们在社会交往的过程中常常需要相互致谢，受到别人赠送的礼物，得到别人的帮助、受到别人的慰问，都应该表示感谢。感谢信是人们常用的一种感谢方式。英语中感谢信也是常考的体裁之一。现在我就讲一讲感谢信应该怎样写才能得到较高的分数。
由于感谢的对象、原因和内容不同，感谢信的内容也会有所区别。例如，对朋友赠送礼物表示感谢的信，一定要提到所赠的礼物以及自己对礼物的喜爱之情;又如因为曾在对方家里小住而写的感谢信，一定要提到在对方家里居住时候的感受。但是，无论如何，一封感谢信通常都包括感谢的原因、内容以及诚挚的感激之情。
我们要从以下几个方面来提高感谢信的写作技巧。
一、感谢信的时态
感谢信的正文中的时态灵活多变。通常，在提到对方曾经所给予的帮助时，应用过去的时态；在提到对方的帮助所产生的实际效果时，可以使用现在的完成时态；在涉及到现状时，应用一般现在时；在表达住院或希望时，使用一般将来时态。
二、感谢信的特点
1.感谢信最主要的是要真诚，缺乏真挚的感情答谢他人，收信人将对你的谢意产生怀疑，感谢的目的也就失去了。
2.感谢信要具体，写感谢信切忌泛泛而谈，应该着重与具体要感谢的事情来叙述；
3.感谢信还有一个特点是要及时，收到别人的礼物、得到别人的帮助，应该及时写信予以答谢。否则，人家对你的谢意会大打折扣。
三、写作格式（三段式）：
第一段：表达感谢之情并说明写感谢信的原因；
1.问候（起到一个铺垫的作用，也显得不太突兀）；
2.自我介绍（对于双方不太熟悉的人，如果是熟悉的人，不必自我介绍）；
3.说明个人所得；
4.写信目的。
第二段：详细阐述并赞赏对方给予的帮助；
1.引出对方所为；
2.对方做的第一件事；
3对方做的第二件事；
4.对方做的第三件事(不一定必须有三件事，但是一般不少于两件)；
5.总结说明这些事令人难忘。
第三段：再次表达谢意并表达回报的愿望。
1.代表……表示感谢；
2.祝对方万事如意。
