TASK 1
试题：动态柱图
作文主题：年轻人玩游戏时间在4个国家两个时间段的比较
写作要点：本题写作一定要注意到动态图的特征，第一：每一项的趋势描写是必须的，即使是柱图也要使用折线图的写作方式，本题的比较点在每个国家内部1992年和2002年时间的变化，并添加适当的形容词、副词进行修饰，使用不同词性的表达方式进行句型替换（例如increase作名词、动词的不通句型用法）；第二：同一年每个国家之间需要按照静态图方法写作，描写极值等不能使用趋势变化。语法方面时态是考察重点，本题可用到一般过去时、过去完成时等时态。在文本方面，要注意到数据的添加，柱图可以先标注一下每一项的数据，以免出现遗漏。

Public transport should be funded by the government so that it can be free for the people who use it. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement.

Urbanization requires that the development of public transportation, including bus and subway, should be improved rapidly, and then many people believe that we need not be charged by taking such transportation. In my opinion, it is reasonable to support this idea by the mass.
As the basic necessity in a city, public transport has gradually become the symbol of development and modernization, which means that it is worth putting enough money in its construction, and this is one of the governments responsibilities; additionally, making it free would also be the purpose that one government should pursue. Undoubtedly, free public transportation could be a huge attraction for all the citizens, encouraging them to take bus or train whenever they need and helping to reduce the emission of greenhouse gases and air pollution. Meanwhile, everyone would regard the free transportation service as the improvement of social welfare, and their satisfaction of the government and the living environment can reach a higher level, which can be the win-win situation for both individuals and the local government.
On the other hand, it is not easy to demolish the fee of public transport. In order to cover the cost on construction, operation and maintenance, the fiscal revenue should bear lots of pressure; as a result, there may be the unbalanced allocation of governments funds, and it could impact the development of other essential fields like education. However, under the understanding from various researches and professional instructions, the local government can find a way to balance the investment in different areas and make sure the fact that the advantages of providing free public transport could fulfill everyones expectation.
In conclusion, in spite of the potential risk, the idea – popularizing the public transport for free – would be the trend in constructing the infrastructures of a city to enhance peoples sense of belonging.

二、具体题目分析
Describe a time when you had a problem with a piece of equipment
You should say:
what equipment it was

Oh I can’t wait to tell you this, my MacBook Pro crashed last week, again. My laptop is six years old, it’s in silver colour, and heavy enough for me to hesitate every time I have to carry it to work. I mean it’s old, and it’s been glitching for quite a while, sometimes I had to wait an hour for it to work properly again.
So last week, when I was editing videos on my laptop, it got slower and slower as I kept adding different effects to the clips. Then all of a sudden, the screen froze, I couldn’t do anything with my mouse or keyboard, and it was heating up like a microwave. I had to force quit it, then soon I realised that I couldn’t get it restarted as usual. During the crash, I imagined all possible scenarios that might occur, losing files, paying a fortune to repair it and more importantly, missing my deadlines.
The only solution was to reinstall the system. It happened few times already so I was nearly an expert. thankfully nothing else was wrong during the process, but it’s really terrifying no matter how many times I’ve done it.
In the end, I successfully reinstalled my laptop through my backup disk, however, I lost two days of working record. I would’t say I’m an efficient person, but still, I did loads of work during that two days, it was such an inconvenience to redo everything.
After all these, I said to myself that, it’s probably the time for my old friend to get retired.
